Village Questionnaire Results

  • Village Questionnaire Results April 2011 (PDF, 61 Kb)

In March 2011 residents in Burton-on-the-Wolds, Cotes and Prestwold received a questionnaire from the parish council asking their opinion on a variety of issues. The information has been collated and the statistical data can be viewed here.
The parish council set up a working party to analyse the responses and the parish council will be working on the key issues over the next year. For further information please contact the clerk.

Report investigating a weight restriction on the B676

When completing the village questionnaire for the parish council last March, many of you asked us to press Leicestershire County Council to put a weight restriction on the B676 through Burton-on-the-Wolds.
The working party set up to look at issues arising from the questionnaire discussed this with County Councillor Richard Shepherd who took this up with officers at the County Council on our behalf.
This resulted in a report being compiled and unfortunately we have been told that a weight restriction is not possible.
This report and a background report written in 2003 are below.
If you would like to discuss this further please contact Councillor Hellen Jarvis on 01509 880596.
